Suwaydiya, Rmelan, Alyan, Karatchuk, Sazaba, Laylak, Hamzeh, and Oudeh fields

carbonate reservoir system, with the fractured "Massive" limestone as
the principal producing horizon, with more than 2,100 wells mapped across the

Position
Summary |
|
The Loading Assistant Operator is recognised as competent in
both as a Loading Operator / Unloading Operator as well as a Weighbridge
Operator. |
|
Main
Duties & Responsibilities |
|
·
Work
with Tank Farm Operator and Tanker Transport representative as part of the
team overseeing safe crude oil unloading operations at Baniyas Terminal,
Syria. •
Competent
in all aspects as a Tanker loading/unloading Operator and as a Weighbridge
Operator •
Responsible
for overseeing safe crude oil loading operations . •
Witness
the custody transfer of crude oil under direction of HKN Production Manager. •
Responsible
for inspecting oil tankers for safety related defects. •
Responsible
for inspection of applied valve and tank hatch anti tampering seals. •
Responsible
for ensuring Standard Operating Procedures for the task are followed and
amendments made when operations or equipment is changed. •
Ensures
that HKN’s Policies, Guidelines and operating procedures are reviewed and
updated accordingly to reflect changes to the system or operation. •
Responsible
for administrative work associated with witnessing custody transfer that
includes but is not limited to stamping bills of loading, Terminal export,
entering data into an Excel spreadsheet, filing and scanning bills of loading. •
Will
ensure defects are reported accordingly using the available forms to enable
work orders to be raised to correct the defects reported. •
Will
be expected to participate in safety drills and exercises as required during
the work rotation period. •
Operator
will progress through the HKN Competency system and work towards becoming
fully competent within specified role. •
Participate
in the HKN Safety Observation program and attend onsite Safety meetings when
required. •
14
days on/14 days off shift schedule with a flexible attitude around sickness
and holiday relief cover. ·
Ability
to Work in hot and cold climates and in remote locations, accommodation at
site camp. |

Minimum Qualifications |
|
•
Excellent admin and computer skills, i.e. MS Excel, MS
Office, Outlook and MS Visio •
Working proficiency in English sufficient to prepare
reports and correspond with international stakeholders •
Numerate university degree •
Good communication skills to liaise with various
parties such as the Production Manager, tank farm operator, Laboratory and
Tanker transport representatives and export representatives |
